Beyond Four Walls (B4W)

Going Beyond the Four Walls of educational institutions, students are sensitised to the issues and challenges related to mental health. Their understanding of the needs of persons living with mental illnesses (PMIs) and their families are realised only through interacting with them. Training them to become mental health ambassadors and creating community awareness strengthens the District Mental Health Programme (DMHP)., Traditional floor games are effectively used for communicating different aspects of mental health, symptoms, causes and treatment of common mental illnesses and myths and misconceptions.
